The Ice Hockey Federation of Israel (IHFI) is a full member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since May 1st, 1991.
Under its aegis, IHFI unites and coordinates all ice hockey activities on both national and international levels.
At the national level, the competition system involves a total of 41 club teams that compete in six tiers of the Israeli National Hockey League (INHL):
- Premier League, Division 1, and Masters League for men’s teams
- U18, U15, and U13 for junior teams
At the international level, four teams represent Israel in IIHF World Championships program:
- Men’s
- U20
- U18
- Women’s
